I consult a few gamecenters and a core group at one of the centers I consult at wanted to go to Avatar. So to help in promotion at the center I paid for everyone that bought a premium membership way into avatar ( Or bought a 5 hour package).
I hadn’t seen it and heard alot about it and wanted to see it. So i thought hell throw something in for this center and provide transportation (I’ve got a bus I bought from when I wanted to be a hippie…Long story) So I loaded 35 people into a bus and paid for them all to see avatar (I have connections at a local theater that gave us a private screening and cut me an awesome deal). Just remember when your promoting things if you can promise someone something with minimum investment and maximum return you can accomplish alot.
Well the theater we went to didn’t have the 3d version. Hell I didn’t know they made a non-3d version but whatever. We sit down and me being kinda upset we didn’t get the 3d version (It was part of my deal, he says he didn’t promise it but that’s bullshit) But honestly after watching this movie I didn’t CARE that it wasn’t 3d.
This movie is a sci-fi masterpiece. This is the movie I will compare all sci-fi movies too in the future. It was insane. It had action it had drama, it had love, it had everything. If you’ve been on the fencepost about watching this movie, get your ass off that fence post and go watch this movie. Its AWESOME!
On that note, I think helped my buddy build alot of loyalty for his center, he’s kind of a socially hampered nerd. So I think this built him some customer loyalty.
Now go watch the damn movie!
