Every GCO should read this: How to Win Friends and Influence People

I’ve recently had a surge of Game Center Owners that aren’t doing so well in the customer relations department.  Whether it be getting involved in drama, or just a very introverted personality, bad customer relations can severely hamper your business.  I personally believe any business owner should read this book before going into business for his/her self.  The knowledge you gain from this book will make interactions not just in your business life, but all aspects of your life more fruitful.  The book you need to read is How To Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie.

A great deal of the personalities I have encountered in the industry could greatly benefit from the methods presented in this book.  A lot of the information contained in the book really seems like common sense, but if you take a moment and reflect on your interactions throughout the day you will realize how often you don’t properly employ some of the most simplistic methods outlined in this book.

When I personally read this book almost 12 years ago (It was actually a book that was sitting on my dad’s bookshelf) I decided the day I finished reading it to try to gauge my every interaction throughout the day against the principles in the book.  In no time at all doors and opportunities started presenting themselves in places that I would have least expected.

This book teaches control through influence, and any great business leader can benefit from that.

I have several books, and material that I will suggest once a week.  These will all be material I have read myself and I believe that everyone will get a great benefit from
