Taking a business class
« on: November 10, 2011, 02:26:32 PM »
Hello all,
I want to first thank this forum for the knowledge that has been passed on. It's good to know that one can come here if they have specific questions, so my hat's off to you guys. I'm looking into starting a LAN center as well. I never owned a business before, nor have I even taken a business class. But I have a strong desire to learn and my dream is to have my own business. There is a business class that SBDC is offering for $99. Is it worth taking this class?

Guess it depends on what they're teaching.  If it's taught by a knowledgeable person you could learn a lot and save yourself a lot of potential mistakes.  If you take it, be sure to ask lots of questions!

That sounds like a great basics introduction course to get started on. After that you'd have a good understanding of all the things you don't know, which enables you to go research them.
