Playing in the Private Starhawk Beta on the PS3. Third Person shooter with mech suits, jetpacks, and jeeps.

This game is sort of a sequel to Warhawk one of my all time favorite games.

So far Starhawk has impressed me even though this is only the private beta. The graphics are impressive, game play reminds me of Warhawk enough but also adds a few new elements. In this part of the Beta only Capture the Flag is active with 2 maps.

First of all you get to build your own bases. Walls, Turrets, Garages, Flight decks, Supply drops, looks like 9 or 10 different structures including walls. Couple that with my favorite mode which is called "zones" basically you control bases on a large map and try to link bases together to increase your score multiplier.

I'll try to update this as I play and I also have a couple of Public beta codes to put in the store once it becomes active.

UPDATE:

They have been working on some patches and fixes for this game a new patch rolled out today fixing some issues.
They also added TDM to the games options. I LOVE this game already. To be able to build my own base and attack an enemy in the way I see fit is addictive. I can see this game eating up hours upon hours.

I was finally accepted into the Diablo III Beta yesterday! :D

I didn't think my wrists could take another Diablo with all of the endless clicking, but simple mechanic tweaks have alleviated some of that. For example, you automatically pick up various health potions and gold when you run over them.  I've only dug into for about 20 minutes or so, so there isn't a whole lot more to share about it quite yet, but I'm liking what I'm seeing so far!
