Ask GCD they have real wholesalers. I have tried wholesalers searching online. Most are all bogus. they are people who buy from other people who buy from the wholesaler. So they all claim to be wholesalers. The more legit ones that I have seen show really nothing on their websites. They want to communicate with you personally.

Do not just start websearching. I promise you most likely you will get burned from anyone that you find. After all who would want to pass their sources around online when they know their competition next door will start purchasing from them too. These people are con artists online and so I highly suggest talking to David from GCD.

Already buying and getting certain things with GCD.

Most likely I'll end up dealing with local merchants on the rest.

Just to help spread the name around town and have some local contacts.

How many Static IP addresses does Level Up need if we have 34 systems?

12 PCs
10 Xbox 360s
10 PS3s
2 Wii

The ISP asked Jen this question this morning.

Static ips are only really needed if your running server that are going to be connected from outside.  1 will be fine.

Thanks Deeds, David over at GCD answered the same. I can't tell you how much I appreciate you putting us in touch with them it's been an excellent experience thus far.

Our flyers hit the military base and the schools next week (last week before summer), iGames account is set up, website work is started, and construction/electrical/painting will soon be under way. My first day as an official employee of Level Up will be June 1st.

I'll link the website as soon as it's up and running and provide photos as we progress.

Website is up but under construction.

We're about to sign contracts and get things rolling. I've got a local guy at Game stop working a price list up for all the games for the consoles. Fliers get printed today and funds are in place for Game Center Direct.

Yeah pretty cool template there.  Set on a Joomla install from what I can tell.  Make your life easy for website management.

Please check the site regularly. I'm still getting the hang of editing articles and moving modules around.

If anyone has any advice or opinions please share them with me.

Update on Level Up:

Got the contracts in from GCD this morning, the install for the internet is scheduled, This weekend we are getting paint samples, going to talk to our guy about the TV's again. I believe we are going with 32" LCD's for our individual stations and 60" DLP rear projection on our suites. I've sent a game wish list to a friend at Game stop awaiting a response.

I did hear back from the regional distributor for Monster they want to come by about 2 weeks before we open and see the location. The most they could offer were some metal signs, posters, and banners which I would gladly accept. I've also contacted several companies from the iGames forums about distribution, sales, and purchasing some of their products.

What's the best way to get these companies attention? I waited about 2-3 weeks for Monster to respond. I know I'm impatient.

I love the website. I want to know, Deeds said that was Joomla? Is that right?

If yes, did you buy the template, made it your self or it's a generic template and you just add a picture for the background?

Thank you

It's a generic template that has like 6 different presets/color schemes.

It is on Joomla and this one is called Dominion. A guy that I was in a clan with on Warhawk does a lot of web design he designed the clan website with the same template www.bongwaterbullfrogs.com.

It was like $200 for set up domain reg. and the first year. He set it up for us and I'm learning how to edit as I go and he's helping me along the way too. I have edited the backgrounds a little not much.

Still getting the hang of editing but it's really kind of fun.
