What sort of "DEALS" do/would you offer?
« on: January 30, 2012, 05:42:57 PM »
We do a lot in the way of DEALS ways to make it extremely cheap to play here as long as it's in groups or on 1 PC or console game.

For example:

2 for 1 in Feb. we're going to charge 1 person full price for the hours or day pass and their guest has to purchase a drink and/or snack they get the same time at no charge. However FREE time doesn't ROLL over.

We do one night a week that you can get a day pass for $7. If you play on PC or a single console game. It works because it gets butts in the seats and they don't change games because of the price.

I'm looking to do a different deal every day or every month. We did this before and it was extremely popular it kept people interested in what "DEAL" they could get. In reality I'm actually making more on the DEALS than straight time. If 1 person comes in alone and spends 2 hours here they might only spend $6 or $7, If they come in and spend that $6 or $7 then a guest of theirs buys $2-$3 dollars in snacks and plays for that same time period remember the free time doesn't roll over so I'm collecting an extra $2-$3 from a friend just being here that I would have otherwise missed.

I know some centers do FPS night or a ZOMBIE game night. I really want to promote these deals leading up to summer and possibly through out the summer depending on how busy we get.

Still have this thread:

Also, I was thinking of some sort of collecting game.  As in get a lanyard and some buttons and a plastic card with the GC logo that will clip to the bottom. Then have them collect different buttons, let's say all through Feb.  In March, they bring in their lanyard and the amount of buttons they have they get <insert your prize here>.

The buttons could represent: 4 hour purchase on a Mon-Thu, wearing your game center tshirt, achieving a certain score in a game, bringing in a new customer, etc...

You can have a day where whatever they purchase in Feb they get free in March.  Have to print a special receipt for that but it works REALLY well with a restaurant in my area.  They only do that, I think, twice a year.
