How did this work out.

I bought some stuff from them, but I had to wire them money.  I could have sent them a certified check or waited for my check to clear.  They did not take credit cards or paypal.

The guy used to call me a lot.  A whole lot.  I still get email from him.

I think this is one a friend of mine who ran a game store a few years back used:

http://www.mcdvideogames.com/

They have an Excel spreadsheet you can download to view all their current prices.

For example, Battlefield 3 for PS3 or 360 is currently $51.90. I think you can get free shipping and you should always harass them to get a lower price. They would drop a bit but not much. The more you order and get established, the more friendly they would get with pricing. Could be useful for centers that are selling new releases in the store.

This guy still sends me emails but with the deals that K mart ($20-$30) coupons per new copy and Gamestop Employee discount ($54.00) per new copy. After shipping I wouldn't save anything. I think he told me anything over $300 or $400 he could do free shipping. I rarely buy that many titles at once. Plus I can get the games at the midnight releases or just go across the street to K mart if they are cheaper.

I use craigslist a lot for purchases too. In past dealings with distributors they don't want to ship anything early unless you move enough numbers. A buddy of mine has a center in a rental store and his distributor told him that he had to wait to the day after release because he didn't order enough at one time.

For now K mart and Gamestop both offer me games at comparable prices and I get them in my hand immediately either the night before or the day of release.
