Playstation TV 3d with Simulview Technology
« on: November 03, 2011, 10:02:54 PM »
Not sure how this works (some sort of pixel interlacing not viewable from the other player with 3d glasses)...but apparently games designed for this TV show the two players their own viewpoint without split screen.  Very cool technology and may be worth having one of these in your game center.

It comes with 2 pairs of glasses. One shutters for one player's view the other shutters for the second player's view.

So no split screen everyone gets the full 24". The price is a bit high but I guess it's cheaper than 2 TV's (one for each player)

Pretty nifty...

It is a pretty neat piece of tech.  Combine it with the very simple tech here :
Head Tracking for Desktop VR Displays using the WiiRemote
and you've got some really badass games.
