Just saying hello and thank you!

I just wanted to make an introduction of sorts. Alomax referred me to this site from another website, and it has been filled with extremely helpful information. The more I read, the more excited I am to become involved in a project like this. So, thank you to everyone for being very constructive and helpful to the rest of us noobs.
